Numeijer Vastgoed can act as fiscal representative for property owners in Spain and as such settle all obligations that you as owner of the property in Spain have to take into account. The most important ones are listed below.
Real Estate Tax (SUMA), which must be declared and paid once a year to the local government, usually the municipality.
Income tax, a personal tax payable by non-residents, imposed by the Spanish tax authorities on fictitious income from leasing. This means that actual rental income does not have to be indicated. This tax amounts to approx. 0.5% of the cadastral value of the real estate after deduction of the outstanding mortgage debt.
Wealth tax, a tax payable by non-residents. This tax amounts to approx. 0.2% of the cadastral value of the real estate after deduction of the outstanding mortgage debt.
